Considerable organisational consultative skills can also be brought to bear that have been gained at Forum Consultants (Re-Engineering of Organisations and Business Processes), Energis Telecoms (Out-sourcing, retail branding and distribution), and in specialist IT roles in Mars Electronics, Frazer Nash Consultants and Lucas Research.

NYM has associate arrangements with OpenStrategies, PixelFOUNTAIN and Marketing Projects.

NYM was invited to become a Designated Partner with OpenStrategies.  To date Nick Yates has been involved in various OpenStrategy developments including Sustainable Procurement for the North West Regional Assembly (NWRA) and Local Strategy Boards for Local Authorities across Wales.

Following the successful delivery of capacity building/engagement workshops to North West Local Authorities, Nick was invited to be an Associate Consultant with PixelFOUNTAIN for sales, business development and delivery of their ‘game-like’ LearningSIMULATIONs.  Learning that is truly transformational for both the individuals and their organisations. 

Nick is also a Business Development Associate with Marketing Projects where he is taking forward three exciting new business ventures:- Smart-Startup, Tough-Issue Marketing and Business-into-PublicSector Marketing.
